Things I Like

Kiwi

Kiwis. I eat at least one every day, they are so yummy!

Clinique products

Clinique face cleansing products I got from my boyfriend’s mom.

Makeup brushes, mascara, nail file

The vintage glass ice bucket (that Grandma gave me) I use for my makeup tools.

Note book and pen

The note book I carry around with me in case I come up with a brilliant idea.

These are things that has made me happy so far this week. Don’t you just love using things in an unexpected way? Like the vintage glass ice bucket that my Grandparents used for ice, that I now have my makeup tools in. I love things with a little history behind them. Have a great weekend you guys, and remember to relax, enjoy and have fun!

Makeup Obsession

Benefit hoola bronzer, Maybelline gel liner, Mac paint pot, Mac eyeshadow, mac duo eyeshadow, Mac transparent prep + prime powder, Inglot lip pencils, Sonia Kashuk angle brush, Mac brushes 224, 217, 242.

So I’m back from Paris! And we have tons of videos to go through to make a nice video for you to watch. I have been rather obsessed with makeup lately. And when I get an obsession, I can’t stop thinking about it, research about it, watch youtube videos about it and so on. Something is a little off when you go to Paris and end up buying more makeup than clothes!! Especially when clothes is your passion. Anyways, I am extremely pleased with the purchases I made in Paris. (I didn’t get everything in the picture in Paris btw)
Pictured: Maybelline gel liner in black, Mac paint pot in color Soft Ochre, Mac eyeshadow in color Moleskin, Benefit Hoola bronzer,  Mac duo eyeshadow in colors Espresso and Vanilla, Mac Prep + Prime transparent powder, Inglot lip pencils in colors 26 and 28, Sonia Kashuk angled eyeliner brush and Mac brushes in 217, 224 and 242.

Fashion highlights 2011

Fashion highlights of 2011

In the beginning of 2011 most of us bought the very hyped Zara heels. Some of us combined them with a bag made of colorful plastic, or one of the famous Cambridge Satchels, or the Zara leather sleeved coat. The Isabel Marant Dicker boot became a trend in February and so did the platform Prada’s. I just could’nt decide whether I was happy or not that the platform shoe was back.

Then Kanye West showed up at Coachella with a womens shirt from Celine, and it got plenty of attention from everybody in the fashion world. Some of you might have been there to witness it all, and maybe you had a pair of round sunglasses on?

MAC face and body

Mac face and body foundation and 189 brush

I wanted to try something new (and cheaper) after my Chanel Pro Lumière foundation was used up. So I went to the MAC store. I love their lipsticks so I figured I would love other products as well. And did I! This bottle is bigger than your average foundation, and you can put it on both your face and body. Plus, it looks very natural on the skin. I have it in C1. The brush (#189) I bought to make the application easier since the brush is rather big.(Similar on MAC).

My little collection of stuff

Perfumes, books, jewelry, make-up, nail polish.

I just wanted to gather some pieces for a picture. So I gathered some perfumes, some jewlery, some make-up and some books and I think the outcome turned out kinda pretty! All of the jewelry is vintage (you can check out eBay for some great pieces!), some of the books were gifts (bought the MKA book and the Rachel Zoe book on eBay) The perfumes were gifts ( Dolce & Gabbana, Lacoste, Gucci all found on eBay) Mascara is Définicils by Lancôme, nail polish is Lancôme Le vernis in no 014, lipstick is Chanel Rouge Allure 58 called Audace.

Chanel

Chanel nail polish, lipstick and foundation

This is probably the only Chanel I’ll ever be able to buy. A little sad, but hey, you gotta enjoy what you have and not be sad about what you don’t have. In nail polish I have the 219, 18 and 505. In foundation I have the Pro Lumière 20 clair-cameo (LOVE it! Best foundation I ever tried) and in lipstick I have the rouge allure audace 58.

Red

Bik bok, Chanel, earringsI suddenly wanted to put on my round ( I call them my diva sunglasses, haha) sunglasses, red lipstick and classy earrings. To feel a bit ladylike. It’s nice to feel like a proper lady every once in a while I think.  Chanel lipstick, Bik Bok sunglasses (found similar no Topshop) and the earrings are from a local store in Norway, but I found similar (again!) on Topshop. So, you go be ladylike too!
