Bag 2 The Future

I was contacted by Duifhuizen tassen en koffers to do a review on a bag of my choice, and I instantly fell for this little leather bag from DKNY. It is the perfect everyday bag that is just big enough to hold all my necessities. I’ve used it on several occasions already and it works great for everyday and even as an evening bag since it’s not too big.

I love that it has an extra zipper compartment on top for easy access to hold my phone, or anything else that I would need quickly without having to search the whole bag for it. It also has a bigger compartment for bigger items like a wallet, umbrella, magazine and anything else you could think of.

Duifhuizen tassen en koffers (in English it means bags and suitcases) has one of the biggest varieties of bags and suitcases in The Netherlands from all kinds of brands like DKNY, Michael Kors and Samsonite to mention a few. It was established in the south of Holland in 1953 and has 27 shops nationwide and a an online store. They also offer free national shipping on orders over €34.95.

Ray Ban, Filippa K, Bik Bok, Bandhu

Whenever I get dressed in the morning, I always tend to end up with stripes. So I guess this outfit says it all! Stripes does go with everything though (in my opinion) and it creates a sort of relaxed, chic look without looking too relaxed if that makes sense. I am wearing a men’s sweater in this picture, but you can also just size up to get the oversized look.

I got this amazing beanie from Rebonnes in the mail the other day and I absolutely love it. I just want to wear it every day!
On another note, my hair has gotten so incredibly long and I have no idea how that happened. In between living life I somehow just forgot to go to the hair dresser. I think an appointment is well overdue. Any suggestions to how I should cut it?

  1. Asean: Basic, beautiful, light comfort.
  2. Paula: I'm craving that Céline bag for so long but unfortunately I'm unable to find, it seems to be sold out. Any ideas where to get it? Thanks. PS. I discovered your blog just now and I love it!
  3. Lene
Lene: Hi Paula! I got it a few years ago at Harrods in London, but I don't know if they sell it still even though I did just recently see it at the Dutch equivalent called De Bijenkorf. I think I would try second hand shops like Vestiare Collective or the app called Depop! Good luck finding it :D

Leather and Cashmere

This cashmere sweater is my absolute favorite. I bought it in London in 2013 and I have worn it so incredibly much since then. I also got it in black and offwhite, but there is just something about this gray one that I love just a bit more. I paired it with my leather pants.
